Ages 6-10: Puppet Palooza!
Time: 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Fee: $200

Characters come in all shapes and sizes...and so do puppets! Throughout the week, campers will create their own stick, sock, paper bag, and “found object” creatures that will enhance their knowledge of character development for the stage. From composing their own plays, vocal techniques, the use of Folkmanis professional puppets, and learning how to construct their own puppet theatre, this camp culminates in a live, original performance that will showcase their newfoundskills!
Ages 11-17: Voice Acting
Time: 12:30-3:00 p.m.
Fee: $185
Learn the techniques for creating voices for cartoons, vide games, commercials, audio books and more! From vocal placement, script and line interpretation, and understanding characters, participants will come out with a variety of vocal skills to enhance their resume, along with the tools they need to become part of the voice-over world! Each participant will leave with a voice reel they can download and use to submit for voice-over auditions. This camp culminates with a student demonstration of their newly found vocal skills in a “pod cast style” performance!
*Both age groups will meet Monday through Thursday at their assigned class times. On the last day of camp, both groups will meet at 11:00 for a combined demonstration of their newly learned skills for an audience of family and friends!
Attendees must register and pay at the same time in order for their spot to be reserved.
